Global Network of Isotopes in Precipitation (GNIP)

The ArDB Cloud offering includes a snapshot (2012) of the Global Network of Isotopes in Precipitation (GNIP) database, which is freely accesible to registered users.

We have included many example workspace templates, which illustrate some of the many ways that it is possible to use the database.

This GNIP database snapshot spans 1961- 2012.  Newer and/or updated GNIP data and source citation up to the present can be downloaded by registering at the IAEA WISER database website:

https://nucleus.iaea.org/wiser/

The latest database can then be imported into your own ArDB database.

Please respect data source attribution practices in all related publications.

We would like to give special thanks to Leonard Wassenaar, who heads the IAEA’s isotope hydrology lab at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for his support.
